Carl Marcus is a distinguished trial attorney with a significant amount of experience both inside and outside of the courtroom. As a long-time member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Mr. Marcus is considered an expert trial strategist and has extensive litigation experience through his participation in over 10,000 cases. He has worked on numerous corporate transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of agreements and contracts in matters such as intellectual property, commercial real estate, and business formation, dissolution, and reorganization.

Mr. Marcus first gained experience in business by owning and operating a family-owned business while attending law school. Early in his professional career, he provided and participated in sales-oriented services with the Equitable Life Assurance Society and; has owned and operated several diverse business enterprises. Mr. Marcus has handled legal matters for individuals and business entities, and is experienced in providing key representation in business transactional matters, including the formation, organization, ownership, control and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies, and joint ventures, and legal compliance with both Federal and State statutes.

Mr. Marcus is a lifelong resident of the Greater Pittsburgh area. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the Political Science program at the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Marcus graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree and subsequently enrolled and graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law program where he received a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.

He was admitted to practice law across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1974, and from the outset, has been focused on trial work and business law. Mr. Marcus is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the United States, all Federal Appellate and District Courts, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and all Common Pleas and Minor Judicial Courts in Pennsylvania.
